Library Art Show

My painting Glass Garden was accepted into the Student Library Art Show. I took it there yesterday bringing with me my own hammer and nails. I hung it up on the wall designated to me after attempting to do a little math to make sure it was even. Hopefully nobody will notice half an inch. I think it looked good on the wall and so did the other artists works.

Anatomy

I have been taking an Anatomy course in school and one day while I was looking through my text book I noticed these pictures of a person's dissected throat. Being exposed at a young age to horror movies (thanks to my two older brothers) may have helped me look past the gory aspect of the photo's and see something beautiful. I thought they were perfect subjects for my drawing homework which was to draw the juxtaposition between work and play.
