Anatomy
I have been taking an Anatomy course in school and one day while I was looking through my text book I noticed these pictures of a person's dissected throat. Being exposed at a young age to horror movies (thanks to my two older brothers) may have helped me look past the gory aspect of the photo's and see something beautiful. I thought they were perfect subjects for my drawing homework which was to draw the juxtaposition between work and play.

I just showed my dad your stuff on the website, and he was very excited. He thought all of your work is wonderful, and wanted me to tell you that your anatomy pieces are great. He said that the painting of the neck, looks exactly like and reminds me of the neck dissections he had to preform during gross anatomy in medical school. :)
